At the CPAC convention this morning, President Bush proclaimed Vice President Cheney to be the best VP in US history.

What are your thoughts?

One war criminal supporting another and vice versa. Can Bush pardon himself? He certainly will pardon Cheney.

It never ceases to amaze me how Bush makes statements with no rational basis for the statement. Facts mean nothing. Ideology trumps all. If there are not facts to support the ideology, then Bush and Cheney just make them up. Less than a year before this nightmare of an administration is over. Let's hope we can survive that long.

Cheney's firm grasp of the issues and is unquestionable resolve are a testament to his legacy. He does not second guess himself. He is decisive and resolute; one of the true politicians who do what they believe not what is necessarily popular. He does not shift in the wind like some others. He also correctly believes that to defeat torture takes intensive and alternative interrogation techniques. I applaud his efforts.

A war criminal?! This is what is wrong with our great country. Free speach is wonderful, but there should be a degree of responsibilty. Words influence, they have power. Calling our country's leaders war criminals, whether Republican or Democrat, is over the top.

Bush and Cheney lied us into an unnessary war where thousands on American soldiers and Marines where killed and thousand more wounded. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis were murdered in campaigns of ethnic cleansing. Millions more were displaced. The relative calm that we see in Iraq today is not because of the surge, but because of the ethnic cleanings and the huge migrations of Iraquis. Bush and Cheney invaded a country that was not a threst to us. Meanwhile, Osama bin Laden, the guy who actually did attack us remains free and al quiada is stroner than ever. What is wrong with this country is that many Americans are blinded by their ideology and refuse to confront facts that show their ideology to be false.

Past administrations believed a threat existed. Had the Dems attacked Iraq you would be a supporter. But since its the other side, they are war criminals. That's just wrong
